The Coed Naked Mail Bag

There were many reasons to love going to work in the 1990’s at Coed, after all, Coed Naked was becoming one of the fastest growing t-shirt brands in the United States. But one of my favorite parts of any given day was reading and responding to the loads of fan mail (and sometimes hate mail) that was delivered on a daily basis. And since our re-launch of Coed Naked last year, the mail is coming in again.

Much of the mail came from Coed Naked enthusiasts looking for a retail store where they buy our shirts, but the majority was people suggesting new designs or catch phrases, hoping to gain bragging rights for a new design release. Some of the ideas were great, others terrible and some were way over the top. Some of the letters were a sentence or two long and some would go on for pages, but all provided massive entertainment to read. Then of course there was the occasional hate mail from people that thought our shirts disgraceful or in a few cases evil. But I figured those people simply didn’t have a sense of humor.

The good news is, that I saved every single letter and starting with this blog I will begin sharing the letters with you. Hopefully, if I can get my act together, I will share a new letter every week or so with the names, addresses and phone number redacted. I hope you enjoy.
